My Rates

• JPY 70,000.- for continuous 7 hours (9AM to 4PM)
• JPY 90,000.- for continuous 8-9 hours (9AM to 5PM or 6PM) (Or if the travel time is over 90 min. for the first destination of the day such as Hiroshima from Osaka/Kyoto or Two cities combo in one day, e.g. Kyoto & Nara for one day from Osaka)
• JPY 10,000.- (Early start surcharge if you prefer to start the tour earlier than 9AM)

Breakfast: JPY 2,000 (Or minimum breakfast cost at the hotel I stay in case of overnight stay)
Lunch: JPY 2,500
Dinner: JPY 3,000
Notes:

• I usually have meals with my guests. However, if guests request privacy during meal times, I do charge the above mentioned balance for applicable meals.
• If breakfast is included in lodging cost, no breakfast charge will be billed.

• Tours last 7 hours between 9 AM and 5 PM depending on the tour option you choose.
• Please contact me if you need to extend your tour, we can offer you the extended tour with an additional hourly rate.
• The transportation cost, entrance fees, and meals of the guide are additional if applicable.

Payment: Japanese Yen (JPY) only

Securing Your Dates:

• 50% deposit required at booking via PayPal
• Your deposit guarantees your dates are exclusively reserved
• Remaining balance due 7 days before tour via PayPal

Refund Policy:

Deposit (50%): Non-refundable for any  reason, with only the following exceptions.
1. Japan is closed to international travelers (government travel restrictions)
2. You are unable to reach Japan due to natural disaster, war, or similar force majeure events

Important: The deposit is NOT refundable if your flight or cruise is cancelled by the carrier for operational reasons (e.g., mechanical issues, scheduling changes, overbooking).
Please purchase comprehensive travel insurance.

Remaining Balance (50%):

• Cancelled more than 7 days before tour: Refunded minus 10% handling fee
• Cancelled 7 days or less before tour: Non-refundable

Plans changed? Contact me as early as possible. I’m happy to help reschedule to alternative dates if available.

Travel Insurance: Please purchase comprehensive travel insurance.

• For a group larger than 4.
• For an early start before 9:00 or if the tour ends after 17:00 or 21:00. In this case, there might be a charge for an early start.
• Cars, mini-vans, or a bus with a driver available, but with an additional cost.
• The terms and conditions of my guiding service are subject to final confirmation.
• Travel insurance during your stay in Japan or tour is highly recommended. I am not responsible or liable for any accidents, injuries, illness, or damages during the tour.
• The tour may be cancelled or terminated at my own discretion prior to or during the tour.
