Premium & Private Day Tours Across Japan
Why Choose a Private Tour of Japan?
Planning a private tour of Japan is one of the best decisions a traveler can make. Japan is filled with famous landmarks, but a memorable journey isn’t about seeing as many places as possible.
It’s about experiencing the right places, at the right pace, with someone who understands what matters to you. That’s how I design every private tour.
As a National Government Licensed Tour Guide based in Osaka, I personally create and guide fully customized private journeys throughout Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Hiroshima and across Japan. Whether it’s your first visit or your fourth, I help you experience Japan beyond the ordinary.
I don’t believe the best day is the one where you visit the most places. Instead, I focus on creating a relaxed, meaningful day. Most tours visit a carefully selected number of places, leaving time to appreciate beautiful gardens, enjoy local cuisine, discover hidden corners, and simply experience Japan instead of rushing through it.
If visiting famous places such as Fushimi Inari or Kinkaku-ji is important to you, we’ll absolutely include them. But if you’re open to suggestions, I’ll also introduce places that many visitors never discover. Quite often, those become the places my guests remember most.
Many of my guests return to Japan. Many introduce their parents, children, friends, and colleagues. To me, that trust means far more than simply completing another tour.
Every itinerary begins with a conversation about your interests, travel style, and what you hope to experience in Japan. From there, I’ll design a customized private tour that becomes uniquely your own journey.

Osaka has more to offer than Dotonbori and Osaka Castle.
On this private suburban tour, I take you to the places most travelers never reach — a UNESCO kofun tomb larger than the Great Pyramid, a midday fish auction at the wharf, a perfectly preserved 16th-century merchant town, and Osaka's own wine country.
Every itinerary is built around your interests. Half-day or full-day. Fully private.

I've just added a new page to my website — and I want to share what's on it.
Most people visit Japan once. Many of my guests come back — two, three, four times.
One guest sent her sister. Her sister sent her son and his new bride for their honeymoon. Another guest has recommended me to colleagues, a niece's family, and a former boss — who referred someone else, who then booked a tour.
One introduction. A chain that is still continuing.
I don't just guide people through Japan. I build relationships that last well beyond the tour.

It’s freaking hot and humid. And in Osaka, the best remedy is the world famous, “Mikkuchu Juice” at the Hanshin Umeda station. And my brain hurts!! あー、頭痛い‼️#japanfoodie #japanprivatetourguide #japanprivatetour #ミックスジュース #mixjuice @tour_guide_takuya
I have never been to Manga Museum of Kyoto. And I really appreciated it that my guests wanted to visit there for their daughter. Sometimes my guests gave me the opportunities of learning something new for me. By the way, I ain’t tell you why they were hiding their noses in front of the phoenix of Tezuka Osamu. #manga #京都漫画国際ミュージアム #kyototour #japanprivatetour #japanprivatetourguide @tour_guide_takuya
Before the heavy rain hit, my guests dominated and enjoyed the beautiful bamboo garden in Kyoto. There, they learned the fact surprisingly that the light bulb of Edison won’t be stable without the bamboo of Kyoto. #bamboomuseum #kyototour #japanprivatetour #japanprivatetourguide #bamboo @tour_guide_takuya
Are you hungry? You eat the cup noodle or instant ramen once, you have to hop in this museum so you learn how it was invented. And you can design your own cup noodle. #ramen #cupnoodle #osakatour #japanprivatetour #japanprivatetourguide @tour_guide_takuya
